ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NW WINDS, STRENGTHENING, AND ALONG THE COAST DURING THE NIGHT OF N and NE, 35-45 KNOTS. IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC FROM MIDDAY LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL DURING THE NIGHT UP TO 55 KNOTS.

A trough with frontal system is shifting slowly across the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW winds strengthening to 10-20, in the Central and South Adriatic in
the afternoon up to 28 knots, turning firstly along the coast of the
northern part to NE. Sea 2-3, toward the open 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km.
Variably cloudy and cooler with scattered rain or isolated rain showers
and thunder.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Moderate to strong, only in places up to near gale force NE and NW
winds. Sea slight and moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or
isolated rain showers and thunder, but clearing is expected in the
North, then gradually in the Central Adriatic as well.
