ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC LATE IN THE DAY, POSSIBLY IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC OVERNIGHT. A CHANCE OF GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS IN THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC IN THE AFTERNOON AND IN THE SOUTH FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
SE winds strengthening to 12-20, in places of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon up to 25 knots. Sea 2-3, towards the open possibly up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the North Adriatic in the afternoon and in a part of the Central later on, clouds increase, bringing rain, showers and thunder in places of the North Adriatic late in the day, mainly in the open sea.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Gradual clouds increase with rain, isolated rain showers and thunder in the North, possibly in the rest of the Adriatic, particularly from the middle of the night. Moderate to strong SE winds turning in the North, then in the Central Adriatic as well, to light to fresh N and NW, then to SW winds. Sea smooth or slight, towards the open possibly up to moderate.
