Synopsis
A ridge of high pressure is intensifying towards the Adriatic from the west.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE winds 12-24, in the Velebit Channel up to 32, easing towards midday and turning to NW 6-16, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and Central, in the morning in the North Adriatic as well, 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Gradual clearing, but in the morning still variably cloudy with a chance of a little bit of rain in the South Adriatic.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Moderate and fresh NW winds will ease and turn again along the coast to light to moderate NE, only in places of the far south of the Adriatic up to strong. Sea calming to smooth, in the South Adriatic to slight. Mostly clear.
