GUSTS OF SE and S WINDS STRENGTHENING TO 35-45, IN THE FAR SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC UP TO 55 KNOTS. TOWARD THE END OF THE DAY AND DURING THE NIGHT GUSTS OF S and SW WINDS 35-50 KNOTS. IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LATER ON, GUSTS OF NE, TOWARD THE OPEN SEA OF NW WINDS, 35-45, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 60 KNOTS. SEA INCREASING TO 5, IN THE FAR SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC TOWARD THE END OF THE DAY POSSIBLY UP TO 6. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

A low with frontal disturbance will be shifting across the Adriatic further southeastwards, while a ridge of high pressure will intensify through the night.

SE and S winds strengthening to 16-32, in the far south of the Adriatic up to 36 knots, easing a little toward the end of the day and during the night in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic and turning to SW 12-24 knots. Sea 3-4, increasing to 4-5, in the far south of the Adriatic toward the end of the day possibly up to 6. Visibility 5-15 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong SW, turning to NW, from the middle of the night to strong, before the morning in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force, NE winds. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic strong, in places up to near gale force, and in the far south at first still up to gale force S winds, easing a little from the middle of the night and turning to moderate to strong SW. Sea moderate and rough, in the far south of the Adriatic possibly up to very rough. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
