The ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic, while unstable air is still circulating in high levels.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE and NW winds 10-20, in places up to 24 knots. Sea 2-3, only locally up to 4, mainly toward the open. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a chance of scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, but partial clearing is expected in the North and Central Adriatic toward the end of the day and during the night.

Mostly clear, but in the South Adriatic still variably cloudy with a chance of a little rain or a few spotty showers with thunder, mainly along the coast. Light to moderate NE, toward the open sea NW winds, in the Central and South Adriatic up to fresh in places. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic possibly up to moderate.
