Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the northwest toward the Adriatic, while moist air in high levels is drifting from the southwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE and E winds 5-15, in the North Adriatic at first still NE up to 18 knots in places. In the North Adriatic in the afternoon brief SE, in the South Adriatic winds turning to NW and N 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, in the northern part of the Adriatic in the morning possibly 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a chance of scattered rain or a few showers with thunder in the North, from midday in the Central Adriatic as well.
