LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC DURING THE FORENOON, THEN GRADUALLY MORE TO THE SOUTH, GUSTS OF NE WINDS, STRENGTHENING TO 35-60, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 75 KNOTS. IN THE AFTERNOON AND DURING THE NIGHT SEA LOCALLY UP TO 5. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

The cold front is expected to shift across the Adriatic and then, a ridge of high pressure to intensify from the northwest.

SE winds 10-20, in places up to 26, turning in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the forenoon to NE and strengthening to 18-32, in the Velebit Channel up to 38 knots, spreading gradually later on more to the south of the Adriatic. Sea increasing to 3-4, in the afternoon in the open of the North and Central Adriatic and in the Velebit Channel to 4-5. Cloudy with a risk of rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, but clearing is expected in the northern part of the Adriatic late in the afternoon.

Strong and near gale force, in places up to gale force NE, in the South Adriatic at first still up to strong SE winds. Sea slight and moderate, locally up to rough. Gradual clearing, but in the South Adriatic in the first part of the night still cloudy with rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Air temperatures significantly lower.
