IN THE EVENING GUSTS OF SE, IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC OF SW WINDS, STRENGTHENING TO 35-40 KNOTS. A CHANCE OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT, PARTICULARLY IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC.

The field of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while the cold front is approaching from the north.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
SE winds strengthening gradually to 12-22, in places late in the day up to 26 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing till the end of the day to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places with mist possibly reduced to around 4 km. Fair, but cloud increase is expected till the end of the day.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Fresh, in places up to strong SE winds, along the west Istrian coast and toward the open of the North Adriatic in the first part of the night turning to SW. Tomorrow SE and SW winds will turn to moderate to strong, in places up to near gale force NE, firstly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic. Sea slight and moderate. Cloud increase during the night, bringing rain later on, when isolated rain showers with thunder are also likely, particularly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
