The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the north.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NW, along the coast SW winds as well, 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 20, easing to 4-12, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 16 knots. Along the coast during the night calm or NE winds 4-12, only in places up to 16 knots, mainly in the Velebit Channel and in the South Adriatic. Sea 2-3 in the open of the South Adriatic at first possibly up to 4, and along the coast during the night mainly 1-2. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear.

Mostly clear, but along the coast around midday variably cloudy. In the open sea NW winds will further ease to light, only in places of the South and Central Adriatic up to moderate. Along the coast calm or light, only in places up to moderate NE, around midday light, only in places up to moderate NW and SW winds. Sea calm or smooth, only locally in the south of the Adriatic up to slight.
