The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the norheast.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE winds 12-24, in the South Adriatic and in the Velebit Channel up to 28, easing rapidly in the greater part of the Adriatic and turning around midday to NW, along the coast to SW winds as well, 6-16 knots. Only in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic NE winds still 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the North and in the open of the South Adriatic possibly 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but in the South Adriatic still variably cloudy at first.

Light to moderate NW, in places along the coast SW, and during the night NE winds. In the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic moderate to fresh, in places during the night up to strong NE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the Velebit Channel and in the open of the South Adriatic possibly up to moderate. Mostly clear.
