The shallow trough with frontal disturbance is shifting slowly across the Adriatic, while the ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the northwest.

NE winds 8-18, in the North Adriatic up to 28, and in the Velebit Channel up to 36, easing around midday to 4-12, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic to 20, and in the Velebit Channel to 26 knots, but strengthening again late in the day. Sea 2-3, locally 4, mainly in the north of the Adriatic. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain, mainly in the North, late in the day in the South Adriatic as well.
