The ridge of high pressure is intensifying toward the Adriatic from the northwest, while the deep trough is shifting eastwards.

NE and N winds 18-36, further strengthening to 22-44, in places in the evening up to 52 knots. Sea increasing to 4-5, toward the open up to 6. Visibility 20 km. Variably cloudy, still with a risk of a little rain or isolated rain showers with thunder. Clearing is expected in the northern part of the Adriatic toward the end of the day. Significantly colder.

Strong and gale force, in places up to storm force NE and N winds. Sea moderate and rough, in the open very rough, in the Central and South Adriatic possibly up to high. Gradual clearing is expected in the Central Adriatic as well, but variably cloudy with possible rain or isolated rain showers with thunder still in the South Adriatic and in the open sea.
