Synopsis
The ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE winds 12-28, in the Velebit Channel up to 34 knots, easing a little toward the end of the day and during the night. Sea 3-4, locally during the day possibly up to 5, mainly toward the open. Visibility 20 km. Fine or fair, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic cloudy at times and a little rain in the Velebit Channel.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE winds, easing gradually in the second part of the night to light to moderate, in the extreme north and south of the Adriatic, and in the Velebit Channel to fresh. Sea slight and moderate, toward the open at first still up to rough, calming gradually from the middle of the night to smooth and slight. Mostly clear, but still fine or fair in the first part of the night.
