IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC LATE IN THE DAY, THEN IN THE CENTRAL, GUSTS OF NE, IN THE OPEN SEA BRIEFLY OF NW, STRENGTHENING TO 35-50, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 65 KNOTS. IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC TOMORROW MORNING SEA POSSIBLY 4-5. A RISK OF THUNDERSTORMS.

The shallow low will be shifting from the Ligurian Sea toward the Adriatic.

SE and E, in the extreme north of the Adriatic NE, 8-18 knots. In the North Adriatic late in the day, then gradually in the Central, NE, in the open sea briefly NW winds, strengthening to 12-22, in the Velebit Channel up to 28 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3, toward the end of the day and during the night in the North Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 4 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder, particularly late in the day and during the night.

In the North and Central Adriatic moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to gale force NE winds. In the South Adriatic moderate, in places up to fresh SE and E winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the North, then in the Central Adriatic slight and moderate, in the North Adriatic possibly up to rough in the morning.
