IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC THIS MORNING LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. TOWARD THE END OF THE DAY AND DURING THE NIGHT GUSTS OF SE WINDS ALL ALONG THE ADRIATIC STRENGTHENING TO 35-45, FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT UP TO 50 KNOTS. SEA LOCALLY 5 IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC AT FIRST AND ALL ALONG THE ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

The shallow low over the western Mediterranean is slowly filling up, while a new deep trough with frontal system is approaching from the northwest.

In the North and Central Adriatic SE, at first SW winds as well, 6-16, strengthening to 10-20, toward the end of the day and during the night to 14-28 knots. In the South Adriatic SE winds 12-24, easing during the day to 6-16, in the extreme south to 10-20, and strengthening again during the night to 12-24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South, during the night in the North and Central Adriatic, 3-4, in the extreme south at first 4-5. Visibility 10-20, in places around 5 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with a little rain in places, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic at first still with rain showers and thunder, in places with more abundant precipitation.

Moderate to strong SE winds strengthening to strong and near gale force, in places from the middle of the night up to gale force. Sea slight and moderate, in the second part of the night up to rough. A new heavier cloud increase with rain, showers and thunder, firstly in the northern part of the Adriatic, where more abundant precipitation is likely from the middle of the night.
