The ridge of high pressure has intensified over the Adriatic from the north, but a new trough with frontal system is approaching rapidly from the west.

NE winds 6-16, in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first still up to 22, turning gradually to SE, firstly in the North Adriatic, and strengthening in the afternoon to 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the open of the South Adriatic at first up to 4. Visibility 20, in the open of the North Adriatic in places around 4 km due to mist. Fair in the North and mostly clear in the rest of the Adriatic, but gradual cloud increase is expected during the day, bringing rain in places of the North Adriatic in the evening.
