The low over the Tyrrhenian Sea is slowly filling up and shifting toward the Ionian Sea.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE, toward the open sea NW winds, 4-14, only in places up to 18, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 24 knots. Toward the open sea of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic at first still SE and E winds 10-20 knots. Sea 3-4, calming late in the day and during the night to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair, in the South Adriatic variably cloudy with a risk of rain or showers with thunder.

Moderate, only in places up to fresh NE and NW, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to strong, easing gradually toward midday. Sea smooth or slight. Mostly clear, but in the South Adriatic during the night and tomorrow morning variably cloudy with a risk of rain or showers with thunder.
