IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC VISIBILITY LOCALLY REDUCED TO LESS THAN 1 KM DUE TO FOG. IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC TOMORROW MORNING.
Synopsis
The field of high pressure over the Adriatic will weaken gradually, while the cold front will approach slowly from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
Along the coast almost calm, toward the open sea NW winds 4-10 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 5-15 km due to mist, in places of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic less than 1 km due to fog. In the North Adriatic variably cloudy, elsewhere mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase is expected toward the end of the day.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, and with a drop in air temperatures in the North Adriatic. Along the coast of the North Adriatic light, in the Velebit Channel briefly up to strong NE winds, easing in the morning and turning toward the open sea to SW. Elsewhere almost calm. Mist and fog here and there. Sea smooth, in the Velebit Channel up to slight.
