LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS, EASING IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC TOWARD MIDDAY, IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL TILL THE END OF THE DAY, AND IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC AROUND THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. IN THE OPEN SEA DURING THE NIGHT A RISK OF GUSTS OF NW, IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC OF NE WINDS, 35-45 KNOTS.

The shallow low centred over the Ligurian Sea is spreading over the Adriatic and it is shifting slowly eastwards.

SE winds 12-22, in places up to 26, easing a little west and north of Istria, till midday in the rest of the North Adriatic, and till the end of the day in a part of the Central, and turning to NW winds 10-20 knots. Sea 3-4, west and north of Istria, in the afternoon elsewhere in the North Adriatic 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 4 km due to mist. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, in places even heavier.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to fresh, in the open sea briefly up to strong, NW, turning in the North Adriatic to N and NE winds. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong SE, turning to moderate to fresh, in the open sea briefly upt o strong NW winds. Sea slight and moderate. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, in places even heavier.
