DURING THE NIGHT FIRSTLY IN THE NORTH, THEN GRADUALLY IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC, GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-55, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 65 KNOTS. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.
Synopsis
The trough with cold front is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest, while the ridge of high pressure is intensifying behind it.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NW and SW winds 4-12, and in the North Adriatic in the evening NE strengthening to 14-28, in the Velebit Channel up to 34 knots. More to the south of the Adriatic it will be calm, only in places along the coast NE winds up to 14 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing in the northern part during the night to 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear and hot, but cloud increase is expected through the night.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Moderate to strong NE winds, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force, spreading to a part of the Central Adriatic and sea increasing to slight and moderate. In the southern part of the Adriatic light winds and sea smooth. Variably cloudy, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic with scattered rain and isolated rain showers and thunder.
