SYNOPSIS

The field of high pressure is intensifying briefly over the Adriatic, while a trough with frontal system is slowly approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds strengthening to 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly reduced to around 4 km due to mist, in the North Adriatic during the night even to less than 1 km due to fog. Mostly clear.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to fresh, in places during the day up to strong SE winds. Sea slight, toward midday up to moderate, mainly toward the open. Mostly clear, but during the day in places variably cloudy with a risk of a little rain, mainly in the wider area of Rijeka. Mist in places, in the North Adriatic fog as well.
