SYNOPSIS

The trough with frontal disturbance is gradually approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing locally to 3-4. Visibility 5-15, in places during the night possibly less than 1 km due to fog. Cloud increase, bringing rain possibly, mainly in the wider area of Rijeka, during the night elsewhere as well.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate and fresh SE and SW winds, turning toward midday in the North Adriatic to strong and near gale force NE. Sea smooth or slight, locally up to moderate. During the night and in the morning still a risk of mist or fog. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly toward midday.
