SYNOPSIS

A new trough with frontal disturbance is gradually approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, toward the open sea S and SW winds, 5-15, strengthening to 10-20 knots, firstly in the northern part of the Adriatic. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places around 4 km due to mist, possibly less than 1 km due to fog, mainly this morning and again during the night. Fine or fair. Gradual cloud increase during the day, from midday with a risk of rain in the wider area of Rijeka.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to fresh SE, toward the open sea S and SW winds. Sea smooth or slight, locally up to moderate, mainly toward the open. Variably cloudy, along the coast of the northern part, in the second part of the night elsewhere along the coast as well, a little rain in places. A risk of mist or fog here and there.
