The field of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening gradually, while a trough with frontal system is approaching from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds strengthening to 18-28, in places up to 32 knots. Sea increasing to 3-4, locally from midday up to 5. Visibility 5-15 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain in the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Strong and near gale force SE winds, easing a little during the night and turning in the North Adriatic to SW. Sea slight and moderate, locally in the first part of the night still up to rough. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder in the North Adriatic.
