SYNOPSIS

The field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a trough with frontal system is approaching slowly from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or SE winds 4-12, strengthening gradually toward the end of the day to 10-20, in places during the night up to 26 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing during the night to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, only in places possibly less than 1 km due to fog. Fine or fair and rather warm. Cloud increase is expected in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong SE winds, in places of the North and Central Adriatic till midday up to near gale force. Sea slight and moderate. Mist in places. Fair or mainly cloudy, in the North Adriatic with a risk of a little rain.
