LOCAL GUSTS OF SE and SW WINDS EXPECTED TO REACH 35-45 KNOTS, EASING TOMORROW. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, PARTICULARLY IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT. STILL A RISK OF FOG PATCHES IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC AT FIRST.

SYNOPSIS

The trough with weakened cold front is approaching from the west and it will be shifting slowly across the Adriatic from the middle of the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 10-20, strengthening to 12-26 knots and turning in the North Adriatic and in the open sea to SW. Sea increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in the North Adriatic at first possibly less than 1 km due to fog. In the North Adriatic cloud increase, bringing rain, isolated rain showers and thunder in places during the night. Elsewhere fine or fair.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably, in the northern part of the Adriatic mainly cloudy. A little risk of scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Moderate to fresh SW, in the South Adriatic SE winds, easing to light, in places to moderate, only in the extreme south of the Adriatic still up to fresh SE. Sea slight and moderate, calming to smooth and slight.
