IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. A RISK OF FOG PATCHES IN THE OPEN OF THE NORTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING.

SYNOPSIS

The shallow trough is shifting across the Adriatic, while a ridge of high pressure will intensify a little from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and NW winds 6-16, in places up to 20, easing gradually in the North, in the evening in a part of the Central Adriatic, to 4-10 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic 3-4, and calming in the North Adriatic to 1-2. Visibility 10-20, in the North Adriatic locally reduced to around 4 km due to mist, in the open sea in the evening possibly even to less than 1 km due to fog. Mostly clear and warm with some clouds only in places.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate, in places up to fresh NE, more to the north light variable winds. Sea smooth, in the southern part of the Adriatic slight, in the extreme south up to moderate. In the North Adriatic mist in places, in the open sea even a risk of fog. Mostly clear.
