SYNOPSIS

The cold front is approaching the Adriatic from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Wind turning to NE and N strengtheing to 18-36, in places during the night up to 44 knots. Sea increasing gradually to 3-4, during the night 4-5. Visibility 5-15, in places of the North and Central Adriatic at first possibly less than 1 km due to fog. Variably cloudy with a risk of a little rain only in places.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Strong and gale force, in places up to strong gale force NE winds. Sea moderate and rough, in the open possibly up to very rough. Clearing and significant drop in air temperatures, only in the extreme south of the Adriatic still variably cloudy with a risk of precipitation.
