The ridge of high pressure from the west has intensified over the Adriatic, but a new trough with frontal disturbance is expected to approach from the northwest.

NE winds 12-28, turning to NW and easing to 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic to 20 knots. Sea 3-4, calming to 2-3, but in the open of the South and Central Adriatic still 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Fine or fair.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Fine or fair. Light to moderate, in the South Adriatic up to fresh NE and NW winds, dying away and giving way later on to SE, strengthening to moderate to fresh. Sea smooth or slight, in the south of the Adriatic at first still up to moderate.
