IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 50 KNOTS. A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE SOUTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC.

The field of mean or a little lowered air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a low is expected to generate over the western Mediterranean.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and NW winds 6-16, in the South Adriatic at first still SE and SW winds, easing around midday to 4-12 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the extreme south at first still up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder mainly in the South and Central Adriatic.

Mainly light NW and NE winds. From the middle of the night in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds strengthening to moderate and fresh, in the Velebit Channel up to strong, in the rest of the Adriatic SE and E strengthening to moderate and fresh. Sea smooth or slight. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder mainly in the South and Central Adriatic.
