SEA IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT POSSIBLY UP TO 5. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC.

The shallow filed of low pressure lies over the central Mediterranean and the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 12-22, in the Velebit Channel up to 26, easing gradually to 8-18 knots and turning in the open sea to NW. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE and SW winds 12-24, in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 28 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4, in the extreme south of the Adriatic during the night possibly up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly in the Central and South Adriatic, along the coast of the North Adriatic with a risk of sleet and snow.

Moderate NE and NW winds, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to strong SE and SW, easing gradually. Sea smooth or slight, in the southern part up to moderate, and in the extreme south at first still up to rough. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Partial clearing is expected in the northern part of the Adriatic in the morning.
