The field of low pressure is deepening over the central Mediterranean and the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds 6-16, in the Central and South Adriatic up to 24 knots. In the North Adriatic during the forenoon and in a part of the Central in the afternoon NE winds strengthening to 14-26, in the Velebit Channel up to 30 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open 3-4, in the open of the North Adriatic in the evening possibly up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Fair or mainly cloudy, in the North and Central, in the afternoon in the South Adriatic as well, scattered rain and isolated rain showers and a risk of thunder. Along the coast of the North Adriatic a risk of snow, but precipitation should end late in the day.
