SYNOPSIS

The weakened frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the north. A new shallow low is expected to generate over the Ionian Sea tomorrow.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-16, turning in the evening to SW, along the coast to SE and E, and strengthening in places up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a risk of a little rain.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate, only in places up to fresh SW, along the coast SE and E, turning again in the North Adriatic before the morning to NW winds, firstly in the open sea. Sea smooth or slight. A new heavier cloud increase with rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the Central and South Adriatic. Gradual clearing in the North Adriatic around midday.
