SYNOPSIS

The trough with cold front will be shifting across the Adriatic further eastwards, then a ridge of high pressure will intensify from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

S and SW winds 6-16, in the southern part up to 20, turning firstly in the North Adriatic to NE and strengthening to 16-32, in places up to 38 knots, and spreading gradually to the Central and South Adriatic. Sea gradually increasing to 3-4, in the open during the night and tomorrow morning to 4-5. Visibility 10-20, in places at first around 4 km due to mist. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder. Clearing with significant drop in air temperatures expected during the night, firstly in the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Strong and gale force NE winds, easing gradually in the North Adriatic during the forenoon. Sea slight and moderate, in places up to rough, calming in the morning, firstly in the extreme north of the Adriatic. Gradual clearing in the southern part as well, but still with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder at first.
