SYNOPSIS

The weakened frontal disturbance is shifting across the Adriatic, and the shallow field of low pressure lies over the Mediterranean.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 12-26, easing firstly north and west of Istria, then all along the North and a part of the Central Adriatic to 6-16 and turning to NW, in the open sea briefly up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with a risk of scattered rain and isolated rain showers and thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate NW winds. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong SE winds, easing gradually, and turning firstly in the open sea to NW. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the southern part up to moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
