The trough with frontal disturbance has approached the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 10-20, strengthening to 12-26 knots, firstly in the north of the Adriatic. SE winds will turn to NW 5-15, in the open sea up to 20 knots, during the forenoon north and west of Istria, then in the greater part of the Central Adriatic as well. Sea 2-3, increasing to 3-4, but calming again in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic as well late in the day to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the North Adriatic.

Mainly cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the Central and South Adriatic, in the North Adriatic precipitation will stop. Light to moderate, in the open sea up to fresh NW winds, in the South Adriatic light to fresh, in places up to strong SE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the south of the Adriatic up to moderate.
