The low is shifting from the Tyrrhenian toward the Ionian Sea.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 15-30, in the Velebit Channel up to 36 knots, easing a little in the North Adriatic. Elsewhere in the open sea NW winds 12-24, strengthening to 15-30, along the coast NE 8-18, strengthening to 12-26 knots. Sea 3-4, in the North, toward the end of the day in the open of the rest of the Adriatic as well, possibly up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. In the South, at first in the Central Adriatic as well, scattered rain and a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the south of the Adriatic at first. Clearing is expected in the rest of the Adriatic.
