LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. GUSTS OF E and SE, IN THE NORTHERN PART OF NE WINDS, STRENGTHENING TO 35-50, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT OF NE UP TO 60 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

The field of high pressure over the Adriatic is gradually weakening, while a shallow field of low pressure will be shifting across the South Adriatic further eastwards. A new deep trough is expected to generate in the western Mediterranean during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

E and SE, in the North Adriatic NE winds, strengthening to 14-28 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing in the afternoon to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Cloud increase is expected, bringing rain, showers and thunder firstly in the open sea, and along the coast, mainly of the northern part of the Adriatic, from midday, sleet or a little snow could be seen.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to near gale force NE, more to the south E and SE winds. Sea slight and moderate. Overcast with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, along the coast of the northern part with a risk of snow.
