IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC AT FIRST STILL LOCAL GUSTS OF NE and N WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE OPEN SEA.

SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure has intensified toward the Adriatic from the west, while some moist and unstable air is still circulating in high levels.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and N winds 6-16, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 24, easing gradually, during the night 4-12 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic 3-4, calming in the evening. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy and cold, with a risk of rain only in places, in the open sea even of isolated rain showers and thunder.

Light, only in places up to moderate NE and N winds. Sea calm or smooth, in the South Adriatic at first up to slight. Partly clear, only in the open sea still variably cloudy with a risk of rain, showers and thunder.
