The trough is slowly shifting across the Adriatic southeastwards, while a ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the west.

NW winds 12-26, in the open at first up to 32, turning south of Istria during the forenoon to NE 12-26 knots. Sea 3-4, locally in the open still up to 5 at first. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a risk of rain, showers and thunder, mainly in the open sea of the South and Central Adriatic.
