SYNOPSIS

The atmospheric air pressure over the Adriatic is falling, while a trough with frontal system is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 8-16, easing and turning to SE and SW 8-16 knots. In the afternoon in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds 8-16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase during the day, bringing light scattered rain. No significant change in air temperatures.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably cloudy, still with a risk of light scattered rain, but clearing is expected during the night. Moderate, in the second part of the night strong and near gale force NW, and in the South Adriatic at first up to moderate SE winds. Sea smooth or slight, toward the open up to moderate. Air temperatures lower.
