The low with frontal system will be shifting rapidly across the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds 14-24, in the North, toward the end of the day in the rest of the Adriatic, turning to NE and NW 18-28, in places briefly up to 34 knots. Winds will ease in the northern part in the afternoon. Sea 3-4, increasing toward the open to 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Gradual clearing is expected in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic toward the end of the day and during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong, in the southern part of the Adriatic up to near gale force NE, in the open sea strong and gale force NW winds, easing gradually from the middle of the night, and in the northern part of the Adriatic winds will ease and turn around the middle of the night to light to moderate SW. Sea slight and moderate, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic up to rough. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, but gradual clearing is expected there as well in the second part of the night.
