FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT A RISK OF GUSTS OF SE and SW WINDS 35-40, TOMORROW BEFORE THE MORNING WEST AND NORTH OF ISTRIA OF NE and NW WINDS 35-50 KNOTS. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is slowly weakening, while a trough with frontal disturbance is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and NW winds 4-10, in places up to 14 knots, dying away till midday. Toward the end of the day and during the night SE and SW winds 4-14 knots, firstly in the northern part of the Adriatic. Sea 1-2. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly reduced to around 4 km due to mist. Fine or fair, but cloud increase is expected in the afternoon.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate SE and SW winds, strengthening to moderate and strong, firstly in the northern part of the Adriatic. Tomorrow before the morning west and north of Istria wind will turn to strong NW and NE. Sea increasing gradually to slight, from the middle of the night up to moderate. Heavier cloud increase, bringing rain in places later on, in the second part of the night in the North Adriatic even a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
