SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure from the northeast has weakened a little over the Adriatic, while a shallow low has generated over the central Mediterranean.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly SE and E, in places of the North Adriatic and along the coast of the rest of the Adriatic NE winds, 5-15, toward the open, during the night in the extreme south of the Adriatic SE up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the extreme south of the Adriatic during the night 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly reduced to around 5 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with rain in places.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate SE and E, in the North Adriatic and along the coast of the rest of the Adriatic NE, locally in the open at first and in the extreme south of the Adriatic SE winds up to fresh. Sea smooth or slight, in the extreme south of the Adriatic during the night up to moderate. A risk of mist in places. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers.
