SYNOPSIS

The low with frontal system is slowly shifting across the South Adriatic further southeastwards, while a ridge of high pressure will gradually intensify from the north.

NE winds strengthening to 18-32, in places up to 36, and in the Velebit Channel up to 46 knots. In the South Adriatic SE winds 18-32, toward the end of the day and during the night turning gradually to NE, in the open sea to NW winds, 18-32, in places up to 36 knots. Sea 3-4, increasing to 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scaattered rain, and mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic with isolated rain showers and thunder.
