SYNOPSIS

The low over the central Mediterranean is slowly filling up and a frontal disturbance is approching the Adriatic from the southwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds strengthening to 10-20, toward the end of the day and during the night up to 26 knots. Sea increasing to 2-3, locally in the evening up to 4. Visibility 10-20, in places with mist reduced to around 5 km. Gradual cloud increase. Scattered rain and a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder in the open sea and in the North Adriatic toward the end of the day and in the evening.
