IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS EXPECTED TO REACH 35-45 KNOTS. VISIBILITY POSSIBLY REDUCED TO LESS THAN 200 METERS DUE TO FOG, MAINLY IN THE OPEN SEA DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING.

The low over the western Mediterranan is extending a trough over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or SE winds 4-14 knots. In the North Adriatic NE winds strengthening to 10-20, in the Velebi Channel up to 26 knots. Sea 1-2, only locally up to 3, and in the Velebit Channel during the night possibly up to 4. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly less than 200 meters due to fog, mainly in the open sea during the night. Fair.

Fair. During the night and in the morning a risk of fog patches, mainly in the open sea. Light SE winds will strengthen to moderate and fresh. In the North Adriatic light to fresh, in the Velebit Channel up to strong NE winds, easing around midday and turning to SE. Sea smooth or slight, in the Velebit Channel possibly up to moderate.
