SYNOPSIS

The broad field of low pressure from the western and central Mediterranean is extending a trough toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 8-18, in the Central Adriatic 12-22, only in places up to 26 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the Central and of a part of the North Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places around 4 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the North, today still in the Central Adriatic as well.

Variably cloudy, in the North, at first in places of the Central Adriatic as well, with scattered rain, and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder mainly during the night. Mist in possible in places. Moderate to fresh, inteh Central Adriatic at first up to strong SE winds, easing gradually to light to moderate, and turning along the coast of the North Adriatic to light to moderate NE. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the Central and of a part of the North Adriatic possibily up to moderate.
