The broad low over the western and central Mediterranean is extending a trough toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the Central and North Adriatic SE winds 12-24, in places upto 28, easing in the evening and during the night to 10-22, in the North Adriatic to 6-16 knots, and turning in the extreme north of the Adriatic to NE. In the South Adriatic SE winds 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the North and Central Adriatic 3-4, calming in the North Adriatic during the night. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly late in the day and during the night.

Light to moderate, in places of the Central Adriatic fresh and strong SE winds and in the extreme north of the Adriatic still in the morning up to moderate NE winds. Sea smooth or slight, locally in the Central Adriatic up to moderate. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
