SYNOPSIS

The field of high pressure has intensified briefly over the Adriatic, while the shallow field of low pressure still lies over the central Mediterranean. A frontal disturbance is expected to approach from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds strengthening to 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair, in places variably cloudy with light scattered rain, mainly in the North Adriatic. A little warmer.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably cloudy with light scattered rain. Moderate to strong, toward the open up to near gale force SE winds. Sea slight and moderate, toward the open of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic tomorrow morning up to rough.
